Final Fantasy XIV’s next Moogle event and Nintendo Switch version’s sub fees

Ready to spend some time hunting for tomestones in Final Fantasy XIV that just aren’t very normal? The latest Moogle Treasure Trove event kicks off on September 9th, and like most pre-expansion events of this style, this one is going to have a couple of parts. But equally important is noting the big event reward for this particular set, which is a brand-new Uolon mount that requires not just irregular tomestones but also Uolon Horn Tokens earned for clearing Ultimog Challenges and Minimog Challenges. If you want the unique mount, you’re going to have to get your hands dirty over the next few weeks.

If you’re playing on the Nintendo Switch 2 version, of course, this may be your first such event… which is why it’s important to note that the Switch 2 version’s subscription fees are kicking in starting on September 8th. The good news, of course, is that players who have been playing since the version’s launch still get the thirty days of complimentary subscription for their purchase, so that’s what will kick in on September 8th. Perhaps not coincidentally, that is also when the next patch with part two of the MSQ and the Beastmaster limited job arrives. There’s a plan in place.
